Right now I am listening to ...

Amy winehouse: Rehab [In hydepark - live]

Got a chance to attend the concert of Nelson Mandela 90th birthday. I thought she is going to fall down, very weak girl straight from hospital to perform in gig

LIONEL RICHIE - GOLD. (Motown Records)
If u like him this double cd is a great buy/steal @ Rs 395/-. Has all the songs(including the early years with the commodores) and is an import.(Decent recording)

Hi, Nice to see someone interested in Klaus. I do not have any CDs however i have MP3s of Klaus Schulz. The entire Contemporary Works I as well as II colections. And also a few other albums including Moonlake etc. I am also looking for the CDs. Planet M Pune does not stock it, neither does music world.

Did you hear about the frog who wanted to become a prince,
and became one....

Was that about what Prem's listening Kamalji?

Its one of the classic albums anyways and the movie for which its an OST is good too.

About the book, i better not comment, this man has given me a few books including "jonathan..." which i'd love to carry to my grave.

Yes of course, Rue, as you recognised, they're the opening lines of JLS.
(BTW, Neil Diamonds' Greatest Hits is another of my " Desert Island " CDs).
Its funny, someone mentions an old beloved song & instantly, it starts playing in your head.
Happened also on the 25th when a newspp carying a tribute to RD Burman, listed some of the great tracks created by him-I started reading the names & my internal jukebox started off !

Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris : All the road running. SUPERB!!!!
Yesterday it was Eagles : Long road out of Eden. Worst album I have ever heard. Should be banned.:eek::eek:

Conjure One - Conjure One

This their self titled albm, a beautiful album with typical middle-eastern orchestration, you never feel these guys are canadians. Rge opening track "Damascus and "Centre of the sun" are truly signature conjure one.

For a change this one available at Music world.

I am back at Bangalore, with a load of new LP records, Blu-Ray discs and audio CDs.

So last night it was:
- "Jacintha Goes to Hollywood"
Nice Jazz interpretations of popular Hollywood songs.
The recording is quite good.

- Helen Merrill Sings The Beatles (XRCD24)
This was good too. But I liked Jacintha more.

Regards,
Sharad

Thought I needed to listen to somthing fast...couldn't find anything better.

Nite mist blues - Monty Alexander Trio.

Awesome!

Next one in line is from the Oscar Peterson Trio.

A good old recording of Yaman rendered flawlessly by Kaivalyakumar Gurav.

This man's voice has a certain persona of its own.Tends to touch your soul unlike Bhimsen or other contemporaries which i feel are accurate but too mechanical for my taste.
