Not getting much time to enjoy music of late, but tonite am just gonna unwind & chill :)

Couple of Bands that I just discovered today due thanks to a friend of mine - really good ones & I can't imagine how quickly I connected to the bands through their songs, guess its that '70s thing thats working as it always does in my case ;)

The original - now I cannot imagine how i used to listen to the version Bananrama did in the '80s  it just plain sucks in comparison to the original.

Wow, my kinda thread! Listen and talk about music. Right now, I am listening to James Blunt, The Decembrists, AC/DC, Airbourne, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones - Live at Fillmore, and Bollywood stuff (Rockstar). Great to read about like minded tastes in music! Seriously lust for good gear now. The only gear I have included iPod Classic and Sennheiser cans.

Shine on folks.

from Charlie Mingus to Gary Peacock to Dave Holland jazz has seem some great bassists and composers....here is another young virtuoso and a composer to boot...Avishai Cohen..his Continuo has some great fusion work, though for hardcore jazz fanatics he may sound a tad 'commercial'...

I am listening to Merle Haggard- the very best.LP OC 062 81609 Capitol EMI record pressed in Middlesex . I am listening this LP on my AR XA TT with Rega 250 arm and Shure 55 cartrigde and vintage Pioneer SA-1700 amp and AR tower speakers and I am enjoying the vintage sound on one of the best pressed records i've heared.

Good to know you listen to Decembrists. Enjoyed their Crane Wife album but could not find their CD anywhere. Any ideas?

Hi Vinoo. I picked up their album 'The King is Dead' at the recent Landmark book sale along with AC/DC and the Essential John Denver and Indian Ocean's Desert Rain! :) Haven't heard any other album by them. I haven't been inside Music stores in a long time so not sure where you can get that particular album. Tried online?? Shouldn't be too hard to get?? ;)

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
