the rest brian silas'eee....
Actually, I quite like the album.
Picked it up abt 4 yrs back after hearing it at the demo session,
have been listening to it off & on & enjoy it whenever I put it on.
I guess what sounds good/bad to you is soooo personal....

What do you think of this album?
Sound of music used this to demo their KEF's, JBL's.

Confluence 1 is good. Confluence 2 is useless. I eagerly purchased it when it got released, and could never hear it more than once. Confluence 2 recording is also not as good as Confluence 2.

I have a large number of Brian Silas's CDs. Strangely since I know the original songs extremely as well, I find Brian's rendition to be irritating at times as he does not follow the original in exact detail. I can understand a remix, but an instrumental should be an exact copy of the original. I suppose it is difficult to do that.

Does he yet play live in Dum Phukt? Should be fun sitting in front of him and seeing him play.

Cheers

still hunting for anand shankar, east meets west....

friends, any leads please.

Hi,
the four albums Ananda, Arpana, I remember & Fantasy 2001 were available on saregama lable and Walking on in EMI. hence east meets west must also be available from saregama. if you know someone in Kolkata ask them to try from Musicworld on Park Street if they dont have then ask them to place a request. Usually 1 or 2 copies will be lying in saregama warehouse due to no orders. Just try your luck or try Hungamma.com where you can select the songs and burn them on the cd and the pricing is also low, thease booths must be located in musicworlds.
