Samsung 55 inch Frame Tv is for 85K

As I mentioned I've to live with this for now and 10 days return period is already over, so no more options as well.

The way I see it, even q90 seems to be losing out highlights compared to C9 or even with the x950g. So it is in general with all the samsung qleds.
Individual LED manufacturers are still working with the same set of limitations that is inherent in the LED tech. QLED is not the savior here.

The only way you will get close to the PQ of a OLED is by increasing the number of dimmable zones in FALD which in 2019 has reached a peak of 480 zones in the top of the like Samsung QLED Q90R. In contrast the x950g only has 60 dimmable zones.

On the roadmap for LEDs are Micro leds which is still some time away and probably too expensive to implement at this point of time.

To sum it all up, any difference that you are seeing that is making you like the x950g over the q90r is down to the onboard picture processor most likely. Plus, I have never been a fan of Samsung's overly blue and vibrant colour tone out of the box compared to Sony's warmer colours.

That sucks man... You can always try moving it on OLX or similar places and try your luck.

I am looking for the 55 inch . Starting Sunday I will start inquiring and negotiation with local dealers for C9 .

yes i bought in Bangalore. Flipkart shipped it only yesterday . I was about to cancel it and i received the sms from GATI courier. Now the wait extends.
And you are right, the flipkart deal was very good. I even got the extra 5K discount on prepayment .

I think people are being unfair here when they are comparing this tv with C9 and Q90R and X950G.this tv was for 75k on BBD with 24 moths no cost emi.which makes effective price around 70k.

So the question you should be asking is this best tv around 70k range.compare it with something like Oneplus tv or any other offering from other brands in that price range and not with OLEDs.If you have 1.3lac with you to spend on tv then you should go with likes of C9 or X950G or Q80R.

I'm not sure whether your opinion is based on my comment,

I never compared against x950g, c9 or q90.. all my comparison is against my other two TV's at home(Sony W950D and VU 4K). Also my point was, even their top end Q90 seems to be losing out with C9 and X950G in the color reproduction and highlights. So yes, its unfair to expect quality in their cheap TV(but VU tv is cheaper than this :( ). BTW the actual price was something around 1.19 Lakhs, so definitely its not worth at all.

I strongly believe Samsung disposing all their poor quality panels by just adding this so called Frame feature. Anyways, picture quality is not so bad, i can easily live with it as long as i dont watch the same programs in other TV's :)

I was making general point.some other users have also mentioned about C9.Thats why i said.Personally I am going to but C9 if budget permits.

Even I own a VU tv.Still going strong after 4 yrs(good for price).Anyways I can totally understand your situation after having spend money and not happy with tv and no return. On a lighter note you can brag about a 75k digital photo frame with friends and relatives :).

U r lucky as I am checking everyday and currently too the product is out of stock for bangalore Pincode 560010....

Received the TV 2 days back and got it installed yesterday. Initial impressions that it is good for the price that i bought (77k) . Lots of soap opera effect as mentioned over the Internet . I changed the motion blur and judder to counter this .Overall a decent TV with good picture quality and sound. Now next is the search for a good pair of bookshelves and AV receiver . Any suggestions?74076A40-E3A3-4BB7-80D6-F8C78EFD6316.jpeg

Coming over the OLED club now? Except for banding, which is kind of a lottery, it'll be an amazing visual experience.
