Samsung plasma "shocker of a price"!!!!

Actually the 'Avatar' 3D blu-ray has not been released to retail and the price you mention is for the blu-ray and 'two' Panasonic 3D glasses set being sold by people on e-bay. In actuality the Avatar 3D blu-ray is available for free, but only packaged with the Panasonic 3D TVs as a promotion.

well i didnt know that sanjay my mistake i just remembered about one comment in an article in some website i guess i should do some research before claiming a fact;)

Ordered mine on monday..desperately waiting for it to arrive..
All thanks to Ram and OP.

well mystery you might very well be the last one to have ordered this telly as i had ordered mine on sunday and there was only one telly left.well i have not yet thanked hfv and our mod madbullram for all the efforts on their part for getting this dream deal get through im also waiting for my sammy:yahoo:

Uploading some pics of my Sammy as requested. One was of Avatar BRRip and other is Clash of Titans 720p Rip. Setting is movie mode with very conservative settings (Sharpness=0,Brightness & Contrast less than half). Black level is turned off (I found 3 levels). Still the PQ looked good.

It would be indeed a great idea to start an owner's thread for PS50C6500 which would have all the settings for pre and post break-in.

thanks for the pics man i really appreciate it:clapping:

Received one of the TV's today and i must say so far so goo, i am impressed with the picture quality.

Every settings are about 40-50% and the blacks levels are very good but may be slightly less than that of the v20 and so is the sharpness ,the picture looks little softer compared to the v20. The pic has great detail in HD and SD looks very good in fact i fell it is better than v20.

Have to update the firm ware and also run in the burn in slides and then calibrate, i am hoping after that it will close be real close to V20 in terms of HD pic quality.

Overall a great tv for the money.

^ call the store(number given in this thread) and find out if stocks are available, otherwise you can always buy a 50" v20 from Panasonic, either way you will happy with the picture quality.
