The Rega Rp3 recently replaced my broken down JVC ql-y5f dd turntable.The cartridge is Ortofon OM10.The sound is open,clean,slightly warm,with a tight bottom end.Easily outclasses the entry and mid level CD players.

Thanks, the JVC suddenly developed an electrical problem and stopped turning . Getting it repaired will take time and I was missing it so much that i had to get a replacement and the RP3 proved to be more than able one, though its eaten a substantial part of my upgrade budget.Finally I intend to keep both, a dd and a bd.
