suggest 32 inch LED

My suggestion is to go for LCD and save some money. I couldn't find any meaningful difference between 32" LCD and LED models in terms of picture quality.

Sony 32BX350 (HD ready) and 32CX420 are good LCD options in terms of picture/sound quality. You get 2 years extended warranty option for another 2K more. Besides, Sony LCD model supports much more formats than LED ones.

Panasonic TH-L32C55D is another LCD model you can consider. It's HD ready model with 4 speakers (including woofer).

Pic quality-wise sony/samsung models are better than pana models..demo them..check cnet reviews.,,IPS panel is nothing special than SPVA used in sony/samsung..Lg/pana advertised IPS on their product..while sony/samsung don't advertised SPVA.

Friends,
Panny LED-TH-L32X50D.Hows this model?

One of the best in its price range.but E5 plays most of file formats and also its full hd,so E5 is priced 4k more than X50,
thats the only diff between X50 & E5.
But if u got budget concern, X50 is the best choice.
Note: if u r interested in lcd chk out pana C55D.it got multiple speakers with woofer.it might save ur pocket upto 8k.

It's also good to notice that not all LCD/LED models in Pana have IPS panels, they have VA panels as well. When I did a side by side comparison between two Panasonic models one with VA and the other IPS, I liked the contrast of VA. So don't just go by the panels.

hi,
A little foolish question--can I connect TATA sky STB and DVD player directly to Panasonic TH-L32C55D TV? B'coz currently with my LG CRT TV i have to use splitter.

@22ramesh.
Heard some positive talks abt hitachi & sharp brand tv's here in the past.
But if u want to buy an lcd/led/plasma tv's,service support must be good and I doubt hitachi service centre's vast presence in india.

Thanks.
I am planning 2 sets around Diwali time---
Panny 42ST50.....living room
Panny TH-L32C55D....bedroom. Decided to opt for LCD instead of LED and HD ready in place of Full HD after all members suggestion.
This will be fine I think?

Excellent. Any LCD will do ... no need to buy Panasonic only unless dealer is giving you a group on discount. Check availability - Panasonic plasmas are in short supply.

If you do change your mind Sony 40HX850 should be the logical choice.

Unless you want to go with both Panny models, I can suggest you to still demo L32C55D and Sony CX420 and then pick your choice. Both these models are available at the same price points. When I demo'ed both side by side, I liked CX420 picture quality. BTW, CX420 is a full hd model. Also, the sound quality of CX420 was very much comparable to that of L32C55D, even though the panny model boast of extra speakers with woofer.

hi,
What is difference between Sony LCD CX350 and BX350?

- Photo frame mode in CX350 for inserting pictures to view it in calender
- Motionflow in CX350, which am not sure how helpful it is. The Full HD CX420 doesn't have this feature.

Hi
I'm also looking for buying 32 inch LCD/LED. Not sure about going for LED though they appear brighter in Showroom. How is Pana L32C55D as I'm also buying Pana 42XT50 & might get both for a discount.
Any good Panasonic dealers around Delhi-NCR??
