Suggest me good speakers than Bose 201 series V

Am going for Cambridge Audio S30 and Denon 1513. Technoguru quoted me 36000 for this. I am buying these for Living room and will add a center speaker later may be after 4 months.

Will S30 fill the room or should go to Q accoustic 2010. S30 has 90db sensitivity and a 4 and half inch woofer compared to Q A having 86db sensitivity.

It will fill the room with medium and hi frequencies but it is highly likely to give weak bass repsonse. It is highly likely that You will need subwoofer to get good bass if you are going to use speakers with mid range speaker smaller than 6". cS30 will be louder than Q acoustics for the same volume knob position. You can get equally loud by turning volume up provided speaker can handle that much power.

Denon 1513 does not support Audyssey auto setup which is a great tool to calibrate your system. Suggest to go with Denon 1613 or Marantz 1403. Also please try to hear the speakers before you decide.

What about Marantz nr1402, is it better to go for Marantz over Denon 1513 . I don't have resources near me to audition but I have to try s30. Chennai, travelling is horrible and my shifts are not allowing to do.

Any improvement in quality of sound in Denon 1513 over Marantz NR1402. Need your support

Good to hear that Marantz SR 3053 AVR is available for 19000 INR on HIFIMART. Is it good to take this one or Marantz NR1042 is far more advanced.

SR3053 has 2 hdmi inputs means 2 in and 1 out or 1 in and 1 out.

SR3053 has 2 hdmi inputs means 2 in and 1 out or 1 in and 1 out.

Marantz 3053 is an older AVR supporting HDMI 1.3 and does not support 3D and also there is no Audyssey setup. I would go with 1402/1403.

I agree, people hate Bose for its High Price; most of the pricey products are the bundled HT systems.

However, I beg to differ when it comes to 201s or 301s they are one of the most competitively priced speakers in its segment and none of the other brands can beat the price and sound quality provided by 201/301s.

At 13,388 INR the 201s beat many of its competitors hands down. I have tested many bookshelf speakers and majority of the BIG names in this price range do not match 201s. Only when you go way above range on 25-30 K range + you may find few which can compete with 201s. At 35K+ you will definitely do better.

Bose has done a great job by pricing these speakers at an affordable price range with great quality speakers!

Test these speakers and compare with similarly priced Polk, BAs, AEs, B&Ws, WDs etc. and see the difference. 201s are the best in its price range and gives out best sound.

Phobia / irrational dislike is what the Bose has faced for years by positioning its products at a premium range; that's not the case now. Try and then decide.
