Suitable UPS system for LCD TV

How much you paid for the SUA1000i?

I paid about Rs. 12,300 for sua000i.


I am not sure if it's worth a buy for a TV? Some of my friends were saying BR1000 is better. Any thoughts? I have a 55" LED 3d TV.

I need UPS system which will connect to these equipments below.

Name Max. power Consumption
1. Samsung 40 LCD 190W
2. Sony PS3 250W
3. Any SetTopBox Not sure which one I will go but you can take any STB ( right now I use Hathway STB )
4. Future use 100-150W ( not yet decided but need some room later )

Backup time is not so significant to me as we have generator backup in the apartment . I am looking for 10-15 Mins Maximum.

Please suggest me some good UPS systems and the prices

Hi, very imp.......ensure you get nothing else but a PURE SINEWAVE UPS for your TV. Most popular brands carry pure sinewave UPS. DO not settle for pseudo sinewave, stepped up sinewave or any other form, you want to make sure you get PURE SINEWAVE.

Well, one of my friends got an APC UPS BR1500 which is stepped up sinewave. He uses it for his LED TV and it's been working fine for him since last one year. Why do you say get only pure sinewave? I know squarewave is ruled out, but how about stepped up sine wave?

one narrow vertical line appeared in left side of the screen ,how it is happend and what
is the remody for remove that line,normaly power failer any chance for create like aproblem

Pure sine wave is the best possible power supply. Power characteristics are very close to actual line. Also non pure sine wave ps can have incompatbilities with the power supply units in some tvs, which may lead to other issues. Apc smart ups series is pure sine wave ups.
