You are right there... but nevertheless there maybe a reason to pressurize. The general feeling among the sales/management folks is that noone wants plasma these days and these regional managers get the inputs from the sales managers who are also fed inputs by the petty salesmen. It is to counter this that maybe we should call the managers and ask for plasma availability and hopefully they will feel there is some demand wherein they can make some money.
Although, in many ways their assessments may not be very far off - the common folk dont want elite plasmas, if they want a plasma, its to save cost and they would be happy with budget ones - but the management overlook the fact that even in India there are enough people who appreciate what the good plasma panels offer.
