Its good to seeing a kidnapping from the kidnappers' perspective, with all the planning, celebrations and fallouts.

The Wailing is a well crafted horror film. Richly designed, expertly written and overwhelmingly creepy with just enough to disturb an audience.

The Chaser, The Yellow Sea and now The Wailing. Director, Hong-jin Na is now a 3 time winner at the game of making marvelous movies. The cinematography is spectacular. The script is one insane rollercoaster of emotions with pure holy terror.

Lights Out (2016) Horror Flick, loved watching this movie, its creepy and in the same lines of Mama (2013). The sound mixing at its best.
Me thinks, this movie turned out to be better than C2 which was a huge let down according to me.

The Siege of Jadotville tells the true story of a small company of Irish soldiers deployed to a rural outpost in the newly formed African country the Republic of the Congo. In 1961, with the Cold War kicking off, the worlds major military players each want a stake in the rich seam of uranium running through the mineral-rich Katanga province.

The fact that not a single Irish solider get killed. Its makes more exciting to watch.

Money Monster (2016) - IMDb - Could have been much better. Instead it finishes as a wasted effort especially considering the premise. Story is simple, hostage crisis on Wall Street. A great star cast in George Clooney and Julia Roberts, and directed by Jodie Foster. An okay movie, that leaves you wanting for more, and makes you think what could have been if done right like a sumptuous feast.

Star Trek Beyond (2016) - IMDb - Fun movie, and it keeps up on the entertainment quotient of the first 2 parts.

Lots of action, special effects, and good chemistry with banter and performances from everyone make this a good outing for the entire family.

Highly recommended for fans of Star Trek, even otherwise a good movie to watch.

In a Valley of Violence (2016) - IMDb - John Wick, but in a Western setting. A stranger rides into a town, picks a fight with the village idiot/bully, and things take a bad turn where he is attacked and his dog is killed. The rest of the story is predictable and all about revenge.

But it is entertaining and delivers both as a revenge drama as well as a Western. Ethan Hawke is good, John Travolta is excellent, and the rest of the cast also deliver.

A good watch, especially if you are a fan of action, revenge, or the Western genre.

The Handmaiden is a love story, revenge thriller and puzzle film set in Japanese-occupied Korea in the 1930s. It is voluptuously beautiful, frankly sexual, occasionally perverse and horrifically violent. At times its very existence feels inexplicable.

Based on true events in World War II, The story of a young lawyer who fights the Nazis to save thousands of lives. Movie start with simple and rest of the film is unbelievable was happened in Hungary during the war. Its quiet good to watch.

This is based on a true friendship, reads the awkward title card at the beginning of the film. That friendship begins when one of the friends is sent to work for the family of the other.
