I want to buy 2 TVs. Viewing is mainly cable/(now DTH). Some DVD. Maybe some gaming (not much).

1. For my father's room: Viewing distance 10-12'. T. Light on the wall on which the TV will go. Budget Rs. 30,000/- or so to 50,000/-. Prefer 42" (LED/Plasma).

2. For my room: Well lit room. View Dist. about 8-10'. Prefer 32" (LED?). 30-50,000/-.

Please suggest best cost effective solutions.

Where in Ajmer/Jaipur can I get the best deals??

Your total budget can be 1 lakh.
With another 6K, you can get LG 42" LD460 (46K) and LD650 (60K or even less) LCD TVs.

As suggested by the other member, you need to read few threads and then ask for specific questions which are not answered yet.

Please visit all multibrand electronic stores in Ajmer/jaipur area and audition few tvs .. You will have an idea which brands/models are good. Compare features and take a note of all prices.. And post them in the forum to see peoples opinion / experience with those models....
