Came back home after a tiring day. Was performing 'happy' sounding songs at a restaurant yesterday with college mates. So listened to this before sleeping hyeah:

This evening, I visited a gentleman in Trivandrum for checking out an amplifier for our FM dheerajin. The gentleman was very kind and welcoming and after checking out the amp, even showed me his record collection and played some music for me to audition his rig. I noticed that he had the Jim Reeves LP, "We thank thee" and I asked him if I could buy it from him. He just gave it to me. Its an RCA yellow label release, through Gramophone Co of India Ltd. That made up my listening tonight:

I have a few 80's vinyl's. Whitesnake, America, Meat loaf, Asia, Santana, Etc. My record player is no good-RCA output but terrible. Any recommendations for a reasonable priced record player?

Interesting to note that Chet Atkins was the producer of both these albums.

And that paste over on the rear side of "Its not to me " was by the vinyl lending library.. 50 paise per day was the late penalty at that time, possibly in the late 70's

Thanks for the post Simon. I still remember we use to borrow the LP's from these people & also one more place called BASPI on 9 main road Jayanagar way back in 1986, borrowing cost was just Rs 4 per day We use to play LP's on Murphy TT with Cosmic co 60 amp
