Thanks for the post Simon. I still remember we use to borrow the LP's from these people & also one more place called BASPI on 9 main road Jayanagar way back in 1986, borrowing cost was just Rs 4 per day We use to play LP's on Murphy TT with Cosmic co 60 amp

I think I also have one from Discoland (A Kannada one I think)!
An older friend told me, she used to buy LPs convert to cassettes and give them back to them

Joining the vinyl party.

Spinning this LP right now and the electric guitar playing the tunes is simply unbelievably insanely enjoyable and 10/10 for nostalgic value!

When ever this electric guitar like tune plays on 101 FM between start of programs when the RJs are about to start their talking, I simply love it (I think I have memories from childhood listening to this electric guitar style)

The recording is also quite good and collection of songs is good too.

Playing "Yaad aa rahi hai" the long notes of the electric guitar rip just suit this so well

Best for easy listening and unwinding on a weekend evening! Cant ask for more!
Highly recommended!

Yesterday evening Spinning was "Best of 84". An excellent, nice sounding compilation of CBS. Philippines pressing. Got it in sealed condition in 2009 from Avenue Road for just Rs.70.
