Surprisingly the cover says "Angel" while the record says "Odeon". Is that normal?

Ghazals from films Rafi original is on Angel label. Later presses are on Odeon label. NM original Angel presses of Bollywood films go for a high price. Angel presses of compilations can be had much cheaper

Hi Naturelover,
I have same vinyl with same songs with totally different album artwork. EMI logo is on jacket cover and Odeon logo on vinyl lable. It has single ring which I presume would be third pressing.
There is no point in listening not so good condition first pressing. But I must say sound quality of mint hardly played first pressing vinyl is a treat. And everyone should seek them. Atleast one's favourite album. I think first pressing (Purple Lable with big Angel logo) compilation albums are very few. Kishor Kumar And Mohd. Rafi have 1 or 2 of them, But comparatively Lata has many first pressing angel compilation albums. May be because she started singing for films earlier than others and was 'prolific'. I am not Lata fan; I like Asha's voice. There are only two compilation albums of Asha which I found are not good quality recording or has only few likeable songs. So I listen to her voice on CD or duets vinyl album. But If there are any fans who like voice of Asha, recording quality of Meraj-E-Ghazal album is excellent.

Assuming you mean Rahul Dev Burman by RDB, there are many RDB albums which are not the generic one though with good tracks. You may share the list if possible.

I may be able to suggest you with unbiased view.
