This was one of the movie from Rajesh Khanna's tail end hits. Hamein Tumse Pyar Kitna was a KK Pancham classic. The version rendered by Parveen Sultana was also magnificent and contain more pronounced classical flavour. The LP is stereo while the audio CD (Made in UK and India) are mono.

Got the Baazigar Lp delivered today. There is no issue with Speed. But sounds like a sharp CD sound rather than a smooth Vinyl sound. (Audio Cassette was much better). May be,they did not use 'a Analog Master' / 'proper sound engineering technique suitable for a Vinyl medium';

Make a small compromise.... enjoyable.....

Though this movie didn't do well at box office, each song is excellent. The way Kishore Kumar picked up the limelight at the tail end of the song Meri Tarah Allah Kare (despite of Asha Bhosle's tireless effort) will remain a landmark.

Yes, it's not more than 30 seconds (if I remember correctly) of Kishore Kumar's presence...but he was brilliant for such a tiny portion and one craves for more from Kishore Kumar as his voices fade out in the song and Asha Bhosle comes in again........

Weekend listening of these two OSTs.


Mahaan LP - Stereo and one of the best sounding records. Songs are too good especially Jidhar Dekhoon Teri Tasveer by KK and Pyar Mein Dilpe. Har Gori Raani Yahan (A Nautanki song) is a perfect example Kishore Kumar's stellar rendition as a comedian.

Yesterday night listening was "The Best of Jim Reeves". RCA Victor LSP-2890, Gramophone Company of India pressing.
I have many Jim Reeves Indian and overseas pressing LP's. But this is the best sounding LP of Jim Reeves. A must have album.

Excellent vinyl pressing. Clean and quiet 180g. Good source, good mastering. This is surely one of the better new pressings. Most of the recent pressings are totally crap.
