Thanks for your inputs with regard to comparison between the old HMV and the new SONY DADC release of JJWS. What about the SQ of the HMV ACD in comparison to the LPs?

Unfortunately, I am purely an analogue person. I don't have a digital setup yet, so can't compare between LP n ACD.

An early London recording/pressing of Ghulam Ali. A great warm sound. This has serious straight rendition of some of his hits with simple accompaniment. If you are used to later embellished versions of these songs, some of you may miss the lehras and harkats he added later on.
I am a fan of these limited release London pressings.

Kalabjavan is a "center for performing arts" in Kochi. Founded in 1969 by the most respected Father ABEL (left side photo in the LP back cover) Fondly called "Abel Achan" . They were stongly in to releasing Christian Gospel albums and conducting Light Music Programs with Artists from all age groups.
Abel Achan was a lyricist too and he loved the performing arts a lot. Fr Abel and Compose K.K.Antony released several Gospel albums.

Yes I do have all those pressings and the 78 shellacs of Padosan. While the Angel and Odeon pressing are just awesome with pure analogue warmth and depth, new pressing is good too. We understand the absence of master spools made this new pressing to rank a few notches below, also Meri Pyari Bindu has been released for the first time in this new release . I appreciate this effort by Sanjeev Aggarwal and Arvind Gupta. Disclaimer is I do have a modest set up and do not possess discerning ears .
