Angel/ Odeon pressing is other worldly experience for sure. 78 shellacs of Padosan are excellent on vocals but the details are subdued.

There is an audio CD came along with this LP. Sound quality is good enough. I am factoring in sound quality to the price ratio as well

Slightly OT, but this may be a good place - where can one get good English music vinyl in NCR region - I am talking about retro rock, jazz, blues/ electronic blues and brit punk etc.

Hi Reuben,
Keeping in mind the careful maintenance of 78 shellacs, I have digitized most of the 78s using my Technics TT and Shure N78 styli and listen through DAC. When it comes to a direct play, I use Philips 533 through my Sansui amp. Full bodied sound and I am lucky to have good quality 78 headshell and cartridge.
