ethinx it ll make a tremendous diff for slr and dslr cameras n lenses am not so sure about micro slrs like olympus pen etc but yes the day the chinese start makin that then it means the world is gonna end coz next they r gonna start makin purely caucasian babies. not that they r technically not upto it, (heavens sake i m not talkin about the babies plz)
but the cost of tooling n manufacturing will obviate the made in china price factor. so if i m a hi end photographer i wudnt go in for chinese stuff for a paltry difference.

Since one of my relatives have bought an audi r8 i really want to buy the Nissan GTR in the future, if because of this agreement the price of gtr comes down then that means i can beat the shite out of the r8 with my really well priced GTR.

Not really, I see tata indicas(taxicabs) and logans (taxis) driving @ 140 speeds on airport road bangalore (latenights). With that in mind I am sure we can test the GTRs too....

Ive driven the 370Z, amazing car but overpriced like any other car in india. It was more fun to drive than i expected.

Yeah u cant really get the full potential of a gtr or r8 in India, in chennai may be ECR or chennai Bangalore high way can be nice fun and can do some decent speeds.

This relative of mine took the first official delivery of the r8 since the showroom opened here last month(it was only audi phone number and delivery until this opened) and has been driving very carefully un till now

GTR is like my dream car so definitely wanna buy it but i first want to buy the 330i before this year ends.

Probably by this year end...but thats "in principal"...and that to be adopted as a law...God knows how much time. The India-Japan FTA negotiations started in Feb 2007...and we are yet to see any implementation(read high quality cheap goodies).

On a serious note, even waiting till 28th feb to 7th march would be beneficial, since a lot of duty cuts are expected on electronic items in budget 2011 and also better Income tax slabs .

Contrary to this some analysts feel that reduction in floor rate of Excise duty from 14% to 10% introduced in the last budget may be reversed this time. That will bring the rate of duty on most of the items back to 14%.
Moreover (although a little bit out of context), the government is also considering on the recommendations of Kirit Parikh panel suggesting additional excise duty of Rs. 81,000 thousand on diesel cars so as to neutralize the effect of subsidized diesel used by diesel cars, which the environlists say is a too small measure.

The new 330i is also pretty good, but if Audi priced their a4 3.2 FSI quattro to compete with BMW then it could have been tough to choose between the two.

Yes Yes Bimmer, a friend of mine in the U.S. was driving 330i Coupe model. Thanks to him he let me drive it many times ..... :licklips::yahoo:

^ Have driven 330i many times , my brother has a 320d so have good experience with the 3 series and i know it has its merits but the A4 has its own advantages

Anyways i will be buying only after September so lets see what happens.

Wowwwwwwwwwww, that would be a treat and gonna be a major upgrade for me. I'm eagerly waiting but such good news always comes with some other catch
