Yeah, but don't buy the 70" sharp LCD, stick to 65" Panasonic or 64" Samsung plasma, which ever you prefer. :)

But the best choice for that size today would be the LCOS projector from JVC.
 
News. Panasonic updated their website. 42ST50D, 50ST50D and 65ST50D can be seen on their India website. This seems that I must wait really. But not sure about pricing though.

Have you checked with Rajesh Trading........what do they say? I'm surprised why they don't have any stock for 2012 when they are one of the largest distributors for Panasonic.

I called all brand shops of Pune but nobody have stock or even pricing information. One at MG road told me that new stock will come when 2011 stock is exhausted. But when asked I asked them about 50ST30 stock and price they said it is not available. They have only 42ST30 at about 60K.

Any guesses about the pricing of 42ST50?

I never spared this much time in serious things also. I don't know what is happening with me.:o

My Never Ending Story: Not find any review of Panasonic TH-L42DT50D or TH-L47DT50D. Anyone saw this? Yeah I know it is LED,

42ST50 will be priced within 75-70K.
Panasonic brand shops in Pune were supposed to get the 2012 pricelist on 20th May evening. Still they don't. They only have XT50 models in stock. I think it's a move to get the crap out first.

suggest to speak with the main Panasonic office, I think its in Chennai. Speak to their sales team and hopefully you should get an answer. And please when you have the best plasma's from Panasonic, do not think of LCD/LED. All good things happen to those who wait :)

Hi if you find pricing details of LEDs ,please do post.. And if you do see LG LEDs (47in LW5500,LW5700 etc) do post their prices too..am following,

Is this price include 1 pair of 3D eye wear? I think it is good price for 42ST30.
 
Dude seriously just buy 51E550, just because 2 tv;s went dead that doesn't mean all the millions they manufacture have faults.
 
When one can buy excellent 50" FHD plasma for less than 1 lakh, why waste money on an inferior technology.:)

I would say one simply cant go wrong if he buys the 50" E500,6000 series or the ST50 plasma.
