I don't understand the electronics but to my ears at realistic volumes, there is no difference in sound from SS and tube amps if everything else is kept same.

Like most audiophiles would say- maybe the system is not revealing enough!

I would say you need to hone your senses more. The nuances of handling sound are as subtle as tasting of wine.

And we all know that people are unable to differentiate between wines if they are unaware of the price tags... And that is exactly what the wine snobs say " you need to hone your senses" ....
