Xiaomi to launch Mi TV Q1 75" on 23rd March - QLED, 192 Zones, 120Hz

Yes, even my TV doesnt look like what my samsung S10 captured :). All i wanted to say is dont trust the side by side comparision pics, a lot may also depend on which frame the camera captured and how its responding to blooming thats mostly invisible to the eye.
Yes bro thanks for putting the point nicely. Unfortunately some LG fanboy started posting blooming pics of qled TVs which we all agree doesn't look like the one in the photos.

Infact those particular pics are fake/ doctored n ripped from a Bonafide nutcase flip flopping youtuber called Quantum really says it all.

Stop guys, back off and calm down, please. It's just an TV, watch it the way you like it and be happy. Don't make this toxic for everyone and don't deviate from topic.
Agreed, it's a TV, not a part of the body that some folks feel proud about comparing sizes. Let's stick to talking about the Mi QLED here please

This as they say in boxing parlance pound for pound or simply put fantastic VFM period !!! I wish MI introduce similar specs n performance in 65 n 55 sizes also.
Yeah man, I'd have snapped it up if they had released this in 65 inch as well. 75 feels way big for my wall (15 feet viewing stance or not), plus its some 30-50k cheaper than the other contenders I'm looking for, despite the reported drawbacks of the TV. I can put the rest of the money to a PS5 or something.

TCL C825 has just been launched in Australia and maybe soon in India. It's spec sheet is very similar to MI TV Q1 with addition of Mini LED .

Well apparently some pple are blind. Go check the latest pics I shared once again. They are not blooming but details lost to achieve blacks by qled tv. Few qled fan boys who are watching in standard and vivid mode thinking it’s the accurate picture and acting like some tv experts is the real joke here. Did you read the other points he made nicely? This mi tv does have blooming and may not satisfy enthusiasts who are picky? Knock knock?. Don’t take my silence easy and try to make fun or insult me. I can give back nicely.Stop trying to win an argument and start talking facts, else you will end up being the joke. I am not a Lg fan boy and if u go through my threads u will know.
If you have the link to the content thats played while capturing those pics, please share. As we own the TV we can test and see if the MI Q1 75 can show those details or if they are lost in this tv as well.

Mi has sourced their panel from TCL . Luckily they got a good one. Today I compared it with Q80T and found q80t definitely dimmer and inferior. But guys here won't agree without seeing it. So it's just my opinion. You can take it as grain of salt.

Those are not from MI tv but Samsung tv. I shared few for blooming and few for details that are crushed in dark scenes. Which one u want? Also what picture preset do u use?

Yes man, samsung dimming algo favours black so loses some details, sony prefers shadow details. Every tv is different.

Patience is the biggest problem, feel like needing a 4K fix immediately. Let's see how long I can last
True that mate, I was similarly impatient last year n had this OLED itch (YouTube hype) I just disregarded the advice to check out Falds from Sony n Samsung, i just had an entry level 55" Vu Premium 2019 n a 2011 Samsung 43 inches. Now compared to those two TVs LG CX in Store Mode looked obviously so much better plus as I mentioned I was very impatient so I pulled the trigger on it. Big mistake as I was never wowed by it and neither was my wife. As soon I set my eyes on Q95T n X950H I had the biggest case of buyers remorse.

Long story short : Impatience is never good and in India just like USA n Europe we should have the option of returning the TV within 15 days if you don't like the image quality.

C825 is a miniLED in name and marketing only. The 55" and 65" models have only 128 and 160 dimming zones, which is less than many traditional FALD TVs.

Also it was supposed to launch in May which didn't happen. So it probably won't launch.

Haha true. I see quantum fanboys here. That guy is getting paid from hisense now.
Funny thing is that this Quantum dude was a Samsung n Sony Fald fan n a LG hater for the longest time !!!

Yes the dimming zone count does feel rather low, reviews from EU n Australia should follow soon, hopefully they do release in India.

Yeah quantum fanboy. You can either be a joke in this forum or get to know pple and add value here before passing judgemental comments.
Calm down buddy, no one pointed at you. But clearly you are biased. Let's have healthy talk here and please try to understand the owner's perspective. I am not tied with any brand and I am average vibrant colorful display enjoyer. You are average pitch black OLED enjoyer. What q60r does doesn't bother me. It's hated on reddit too.
Btw see this is an oled and it looks as if it's blooming, so quit pasting random screenshot from youtube.

Why are we even comparing a 1.19 lakhs Qled TV with a 2.25 (65") OLED TV.

MI has done a good job keeping the price low for a 75" TV.
I personally own a Mi 4 tv which was flagship at that time and loved the slim design. I like it and also admit it has faults mentioned above.

I woukd have ordered Q1 75" it by now if there were no lockdown restrictions during its launch. Nevertheless I got some time to rethink and do research, I figured that I want good detailed picture quality and fast response time for gaming. So for my purpose OLED is good.

To keep it short stop comparing Qled and OLED and instead see what you really need and what compromises are you willing to do for that. The comparison battle will never end. It was same when the LED TV's were launched, that time it was Plasma vs LED battle.

I am biased how? Tell me what comment I made was biased? There is blooming and loss of details in qled to achieve blacks. These are proven facts period. qled is brighter then Oled is facts period. And also do you know the mode that you are using is a very inaccurate mode to watch movies? Don’t believe me just google and it will tell u in all professional tv related articles that vivid produces the least realistic image. It is way off from D65 reference. But if you like it that’s totally fine and nothing wrong in it.It’s very clear that blooming effect in the image u shared is due to over exposed camera. In qled u either get blooming or lost details to maintain blacks. The other set of images I shared clearly proves it and that’s one reason I even shared a side by side comparison image of Samsung q90A and q90T. Just go through all the comments I made in various tv threads and u will realise I am the least biased person but just love to share facts. I myself have started various threads on Oled issues which u can easily find.
