Just got the PS51D450 model instead for THB 20250 (INR about 31000 - 32000). Value for money. Found it much cooler compared to LG 50PJ350R
Didn't bother much about the 3D feature available in the 490 model.
samsung across the range( lcd & plasma alike) has some blue shift problem in their blacks(bluish blacks), & if viewed off axis(at angles) becomes worse(for lcd's & led lcd) & this was one of the primary reason why i returned my 1 month old samsung 40c530 lcd....however having said that, the video herein i feel is just an extreme exaggeration of that...& for plasma to display such jarring blue shift in the blacks would be very much less expected . i therefore request for ppls here, who r much interested in the tv & would have the first opportunity to demo the 51d550 to very much look for this particular issue & report back,if found anything quite distressing! That would be a great help 2 the community!
^ so,how is the reflection & glare on the tv & also any buzzing sound?
Although it's a good cheap love but it's not Full HD the model you brought is good if you opted for a smaller screen 1366*768 is the native resolution Good choice for the buck you spent .
where and how much u spent?
if possible share some pro's and con's of the tv
if possible plz share the tv setup images as well as some tv backplate
@bv_abhi: I purchased it from "Power Buy" which is the retail electronic chain store (Central Department Store Group) in Thailand.
Most TV programmes are still being broadcasted in low resolution, except for few that have moved to HD quality.
Will post pictures and make a mini review over the weekend.

"Killzone 3 has the worst lighting ever! Every map is different and as much as you adjust the settings, there is no way to fix it. I have a 59" Samsung 8000 and? the 51" D550 and they look great until I put in Killzone".
Best way to judge blacks, motion and color is a demo on properly calibrated display. Think it was on the LG PK550 owner's thread, I posted (my) favorite demo clips - gives me a very fair idea of the display capability.
