Yeah TCS employees get some discount in some TATA enterprise like Croma/Tanisq/Westside etc ..

Well one more thing : I was really impressed with the Store manager [Anirudhh] and the salesman- Mahantesh : a real patient guy .. does not hasten you to take a decision... did so many things like switching off the lights in a store full of people, so that i can see the PDP properly... playing different formats .. moving the TV around for comapring with other TVs.

I was really impressed with the salesman ... this credit is really due on him ... and best of all he did not bargain at all !! he said 80k and i offer 75.5 k thats all

The price is fixed for 80K but comes with two glasses, 3 yrs warranty... nothing more than that..
They don't have in stock and expecting it to be available in a week.

could also be... to aggressively compete with Sammy 51D550. And also make way for other sizes in VT (or bring in GT)

but this new price find is adding more to the confusion/frustration. My house will be ready to move in by diwali...and i am yet to buy a PDP...which one VT20, V20, ST30...

Got the 50VT20 with 2 3D glasses for 75K in Croma Mumbai. Did not opt for the Tata Sky HD and wireless keyboard and reduced 5K from the initial quote of 80K. Also got my 5year old working 21"CRT exchanged for 2K. So net deal for 73K. Will delivered tomorrow.As of 12:30PM today the stocks number showed 36.

Off topic- they also have couple of 42V20 for 46K.

Not available any more, 74k is the best available in unilet store. Check with them.
