Got the 50VT20 delivered today afternoon. 74.4 K for TV, 1 pair of 3D Glasses, Wireless keyboard, Tata Sky HD frm Croma Hadapsar, PUNE

I am still wating for the wall mount and the keyboard as they were out of stock. Will get the installation done once I have the wall mount.

Had confirmed a 50VT20 from Haneef - Unilet.. as in Sudhir's case he called up to inform me before shipping that the remaining 2 pieces that he has has run around 36 hours each... i have to decide to either scrap the deal or go ahead with it.. waiting for your inputs..

Having read all the stuff about how you should be treating your plasma in the first 100 (or 200) hours and knowing fully well its a used piece, I would advise you against buying this.

You'd better bargain hard on a sealed piece and settle for peace of mind, rather than having to give the dealer a piece of your mind

Thats what I thought but when I actually saw the Box, it was written that 1 pair of glasses.
Yes, 7% Cash doscount, irrespective of the mode of payment. So 79,999 less 5,600 = 74,400 for me.

Still waiting for installtion, might be tomorrow.

Just 1 paif of glassess and 7% cash discount. Still to install. Waiting for wallmount. Croma is out of stock

Is there any way I can upgrade from Tata Sky HD to HD+. I am ready to pay the difference of 1400 INR but not sure if Croma can do it for me. WIll ask tomorrow

Update - 50VT20 stock is now available in Pune brand shop (Daruwala pool/chinchwad/kothrud).
Price 77K including 2 pairs of glasses (yes 2 not 1 ) + logitech wireless + 3yr warranty + scratch card + delivery installation in Pune / Mumbai/ nearby areas.
Compared to croma offer of ~ 74K including + tata sky HD this seems to be better as you get extra eyewear for ~ 5.5K.

Update for Tamil nadu buyers :

CROMA says it has no stocks as of now in tamil nadu both for VT20 and ST30.

From todays searching , VT20 is fastly running out of stock in tamil nadu. Only one piece in salem , for 90K with usual freebies.

If VT20 50" is available for 75K in tamilnadu (banglore Price) Please do PM me..

If you are existing subscriber you wont have to pay a penny for stnadard installation. You will get 1(or is it 2?) month of HD pack free. If you convert existing box to multi - you get 500 credited to your account and 1 month of multi TV connection is also free.

The picture is mat finish and not glass finish( the "X" and "U" series was near it.I took demo of "avtar" seen superb from 10 ft.

The guy first excepted that the rates are droped but told me that he can only sell the tv at 1lk with 3d camera or blue ray as his purchase price is high

I said "will you be abale to find buyer? ,because the croma is selling at 75k "

He took a pouse ,finaly said "i give you final price tomorrow 12 o'clock"

i am waiting for his reply.

Try and get the another set of glasses free...TATA SKY HD you can buy from anywhere but glasses are very expensive (almost 8 to 10k) and you will need 2 atleast at home to enjoy with someone. Total package you should look at is all above except TATA sky HD but another pair of glasses at 77k max.

I got the TATA sky HD but i dont need it....Chroma Juhu didnt have another set of glasses or i would have bargained for it instead...
