Not sure if this particular question was answered.....but has the problem of having a marking on top of the knob to indicate volume level or source selected been sorted out?
Would appreciate it if Jyant can pitch in on whether some kind of a 'dot' can be put on top of the knob.

Shipping method: DTDC surface
Group Shipping: I am OK either ways. We can group ship if a) group packing will help equipment safety due to better packing b) I don't think there will be much saving as total cost itself is Rs.400/- Some exact saving figure should help. But IMHO, this need not be main criteria.
Knobs choice: I am Okay with any design as far as it works
Smoother front design is preferred if had to choose one.Just wanted to unblock from my side.
Me too ! No Rajesh, with my travel and the availability of the free time with machine shop, there has been little progress. Hope to start it next week but then I am off again for two weeks.

I guess some are buying knobs for different amp/preamp and if volume/selector have 'D' shafts the markings indication may not align accurately. So it will be better to fix the controls in the enclosure fix the knob and make markings.

Even if they have D shafts, the knobs do not have D holes for the shafts to mate with and align. The holes are round so aligning the indicator is not a problem.

Just a quick question for folks planning to add a phono stage into the B1 cabinet - how are you planning to handle the connection for the ground wire from the TT? Should we have another hole drilled into the back of the cabinet and some kind of screw (?? - don't know what this should be called) fixed to this hole for the ground connection?
