Fans of Television Series

Leverage (TV Series 20082012) - IMDb - A good caper series where one fraud/insurance investigator and a group of theives come together to rob from the rich and powerful, in the name of justice.

The chemistry between the cast is one of the best ever, performances are top notch.

One of the best entertaining serials on TV. If you are in the mood for some lighthearted entertainment then check out Leverage.

wowow I have that in my library for like ages ...lol will give it a shot now that I have a review ....:)

Do watch. Its lots of fun. All characters are fun, but especially Sophie's "acting" performance will blow you away and Parker's quirks and behavior are too funny.

Hardison also has his moments.

There hasn't been a series like this in a long time. Networks do keep trying with misfits and characters coming together and forming a team, but nothing has been this successful at least in terms of the chemistry and camaraderie that this show has.

Scorpion is a good example of hit and miss.

Suits (TV Series 2011 ) - IMDb - Season 5 done. It's a brilliant show, one of the few that's intelligent TV. It's about lawyers, but you see very little of the court. It's mostly about negotiations and the power play that goes behind the scenes.

I'll not go into detail about the story because there is no real linear arc, other than one major secret that everyone is trying to hide or profit from.

Otherwise its intelligent TV, witty, funny, great performances all around, with oodles of humor and dialogues that don't make you think you are watching a 5 year old.

Battlestar Galactica (TV Series 20042009) - IMDb - I have heard a lot about this series, but it was always on my to do list. Finally got around to starting it a few weeks ago, and I was completely hooked from the very first episode, which was actually a TV movie.

Truly one of the best sci-fi TV shows of all time, highly recommended. I'm not sure if it's available online via the likes of Netflix, I borrowed the Blu-ray discs from a friend. Either way, do watch the series, especially if you're into science fiction and space.

There are so many battlestar TV series and movies that I have always been confused which is the original one. I guess the above is the one. Will give it a shot ...

Lucifer (TV Series 2016 ) - IMDb - Really enjoying this one. Tom Ellis is sheer fun and this is a good replacement for the cancelled Rush.

Give it a go guys... its fun without too much drama.

Has anyone watched Lucifer? How is it overall?

I mentioned it a while back. I'm loving it. Tom Ellis is super fun and elevates it with his witty one liners, charm, and the sexy British accent.

Good fun, go for it.

Justified - Final Season 6 .... my oh my what a roller coaster ride was this. The sheer quality of writing, dialogues and actions has made Justified in my top 6 all-time TV series. As I have been sharing in my previous Justified posts, every season has been better than the previous one and 6 was no exception. The final fate of lead characters was decided and it was as satisfying as it can be. There are very few TV series (even if they are in my top 5-6) which have characters you care and love so much you actually do not stop thinking about them even after days you have finished the season. The killing was one such TV series, BB ofcourse and now Justified. I am gonna realy miss Raylen Given, boy timothy olyphant player that character to perfection. The way he walked, delivered, his strengths weaknesses all were grounded and you felt everything. My rating started with a 7/10 for Justified and at season 6 ending its an easy 8/10 ....
I am off to watching DeadWood the original TV series with Timothy Olyphant from which Justified was born ....

Just finished watching 3 crime detective shows, enjoyed every bit of it, each one captures the different mood of the city it is shot in.

1) "Broadchurch" shot in Dorset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, UK. The locations & visuals are just stunning. This series reminded me a lot about "The Killing" with the time line it took to cover a single crime with multiple suspects.

2) "The Fall" shot in Belfast. There is some amazing acting by Gillian Anderson & Jamie Dornan in particular who stands out as a psychological serial killer.

3) "Top Of The Lake" shot in Queenstown, Otago, New Zealand. Nice little crime detective show at the far end of the world set in NZ with great locations.

Also finished House Of Cards Season 4, Kevin Spacey aces up as President Frank Underwood, great show & great momentum.

Continuing watching "American Crime Story" Season 1 The People V/s.O J Simpson based on true events, this again is a great watch.

Also continuing with "Billions" Season 1, i am grate fan of Paul Giamatti & he has added so much weightage to this show playing a U.S. District Attorney with great aplomb. Damian Lewis plays the role of a hot shot stock broker with a lot of charisma.

I wouldn't have believed it unless I filled in the information myself... but I added and I'm watching 69 current shows. That's current, not ones that have stopped or ones that I've already seen.... I only added the ones I'm watching currently and the ones currently on air or on a break.

I probably would have found and added more if I'd scrolled more.

Damn... that's a lot of TV for anyone... nevermind even with Netflix, Cable, internet streaming, etc.

well now that you have said, I counted and I landed at 56, and those are the ones I added on trakt.tv. I am sure there would be like 5-10 others that I forgot to add before I opened the account at trakt.tv ... :)

Just finished watch this little jem of a show. The story mostly revolves around 2 friends & a bunch of characters in a lovely little town called Venice in California.

Will Arnett who mostly hoggs the limelight is a very interesting character, he is mostly into his little lies & is shown to be having a selfish trait but in the end he still is the lovable nice guy.

The show has lots of funny characters & moments to keep you interested with some real twists in the final 3 episodes.

If you have watched enough of hard core crime shows of lately this one is a perfect drifter & easy on your mind.

Available on Netflix.
