Brilliant acting by Travolta, superb body language. Well the shows aren't available paid online streaming , hence you know ;-)

I am not a big fan of TV series. After seeing this thread I brought Breaking Bad blu ray from Amazon.uk .Watched at a stretch for 2 months.Got addicted. What a series. Unswitchoffable. Thanks buddies for recommending.

Better call saul - Season 2 .. well, let me say, there are very few characters in all TV series I have seen that I have actually lovingly adored ..... lol, Jimmy McGill AKA Saul GoodMan is one such character from Better Call Saul. Writers have created so much depth and layers in this one character that you just love watching it struggle and fight out the odds of life. Not to forget the impeccable performance by Bob Odenkirk, that brought the writing and the character to amazing life. By season 2 mid I was so intrigued by the slow, and very steady transformation of Jimmy to Saul, that I had to actually see the intro show (EP-8 SE02) of Breaking bad again to see at what juncture was Saul introduces in BB. There is nothing negative I can find the way writers have created the pre-BB era that shows how Jimmy and Mike Ehrmantraut for that matter become to what they are in BB. Loved Season 2 as well ....7.8/10 for BCS ..:)

Completed watching "American Crime Story". Its a great series covering aspects of murder charges against a Celebrity. Enjoyed the legal thriller, it is pretty good series, much like novels written by John Grisham.

You rightly summed up, there is so much depth & layers in Jimmy McGill's personality, naively smart, loyalty, fearlessness to go the distance & much more, all strewn to make a memorable character & some brilliant acting by Bob Odenkirk.

Just finished the concluding episode of 11.22.63. Treat for all time travel lovers. Story of an attempt to stop the shooting of JFK.

Man a limited event series :clapping: fell in love with the characters, smiles and tears 10/10 for me. Wow

Episode 19 may have a twist - I wish

HUMANS - Season 1 ... Damm this is one quality hell of a tv series. Well the plot is not something our of ordinary, the concept is somewhat cross over between iRobot and AI. Its a parallel present and having an Android (or synth as they call it in the show) is the in thing. Its common and present in all day to day activities. (this is like the iRobot), what if the synths are given feelings, given a conscious ..... (AI here) .... It was, creepy, scary, thrilling, emotional all scaled in one, very well done. Again its slow, pace is not something I would rate this series on, but it keeps you interested pretty much till the very end, the debate of machines good enough to replace humans is nicely portrayed .... some take it as a boon some reject it, performances were superb, Gemma Chan (no idea who she is) as synth Anita was spot on!! .... it was a great watch...... Season 1 ended also nicely with satisfying conclusion plus also making you want more for season 2 ..... 7.5/10

PS:: Its a Britt show so as usual I would recommend to watch it with subs .. :)

Yeah saw this one last year.. The synth does leave an impact.Highly Recommended

I really loved it myself, especially Gemma Chan did a fab job as Anita.

A few more that I really liked (and available on Netflix) are...

Sense8 (TV Series 2015 ) - IMDb
Bloodline (TV Series 2015 ) - IMDb
Narcos (TV Series 2015 ) - IMDb

Truly quality programming from the folks at Netflix aside from the big guns like DareDevil, House of Cards, etc.

I believe apart from The Blacklist, Grimm, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and a couple more, most of my TV watching has shifted to Netflix full time. Netflix has really stepped it up, now probably the only thing remaining is regional programming before internet kills the TV star.

how is sense 8?

Great and definitely a must watch.

Its sci-fi about 8 strangers being linked mentally and telepathically and being able to use each other's abilities and skills.

But on a deeper level its about being accepting of all people - irrespective of their race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.

You'll love it, might take 3-4 episodes going in, but once there its an excellent series.

mmmm uncanny resemblance to HEROES season 1 ...??? Or I am just off track .. :)

Totally off. Heroes was nice, but more of pop culture.

Sense8 is intense and not at all about superheroes or even saving the world. Its closer to what I said in the previous post.

Heroes Reborn totally sucked... I think I lasted till the 2nd or 3rd episode.

Sense8 is totally worth it. Might not always go at the pace you want, especially there is more character building in season 1 (the same as Daredevil season 1), but its still can excellent series and totally worth it.

If you are fan of crime Detective shows, especially set in secluded places, do catch up with "Fortitude" . Set in the remotest place of Iceland with a population of just 700 & a police force of just 4, this show does keep you engrossed all the time, you also get to see the northern lights. There is an element of creepiness to the show which keeps you on the edge. 7.5/10.
