There is no information about Star Sports HD channels becoming a la carte but SD channels are becoming a la carte. Price is going to be Rs 15 + taxes. If you want all the 4 channels then it is Rs 60 + Rs6 taxes = Rs66/-

I am trying to get Hathway HD in my new home in Bangalore, however I have few queries can someone help here.
If I choose one of the below in link (Hathway Digital Cable) and then ask for HD on top for all HD channels available (guess 20 something) how much would that extra HD cost?
Any good package suggestion for viewing Sports, Kannada Channels, Hindi Channels and English Movies with Movies and Sports in HD

There are 31 HD channels in Bangalore. You will need to pay Rs 200 for 27 channels + Rs135 for Start Sports HD1 and HD2 + Rs 88 for HBO Defined and HBO Hits

Star Sports HD1 and HD2 are a la carte from today. You need to pay Rs135 including tax for these channels.

It was the same problem for me Go to Hathway and gett he box replaced.Iam sure the box is blackcolor big box the ist one the Hathaway distributed when it was launched,Its a manufacturing defect they are replacing all the boxes of that kind with a new one.Almost every one is facing the same issue after few months.
Star sports SD 1 is available, but 2,3 and 4 SD as well as HD 1 and 2 are blocked. Request all on a long term plan to raise complaints, one directly to Hathaway, a written or email complaint and another to the MIB in the govt as detailed in gopichandpai's post above.

Rs 200 for the full bouquet and 135 for 2 channels? And to add to this, there is 66 Rs for the SS SD channels. That's a whooping 201 Rs extra to what was available at 450-500. What's Hathway thinking they are doing? They have surpassed TataSky on pricing, and are now very close to Airtel.
I was this close to get a Hathway HD box, then came this news. Not sure what to do now - TataSky or D2H ?
One of the issues cited by Hathway in the article about their disagreement with Star was that they were having trouble collecting payments "on the ground". With acts such as this, I'm not sure what they are trying to achieve by aggravating existing customers and pushing away potential new ones.

We were getting HBO Defined and Star World Premiere HD but that is also blocked now.
So Rs200 + Rs 135 for Star Sports HD1 and HD2 + Rs88 for HBO Defined and HBO Hits + Rs60 Star World Premiere HD.

This is further bad news, not only SS channels, but now HBO ones are also gone. Did you opt for these top-ups? Are they working? What is the final cost?

No I have not taken any top up. As of now they have enabled Star Sports 1 SD for me.
I checked just now and saw that SS 1 (SD) and both SS HD channels have been enabled for me. 2/3/4 still blocked.
What could be the reason for this sudden u-turn?
Today is the India vs. SA match and I think that it could be to avoid a serious backlash during the WT20 tournament. If that is the case and the channels are blocked after the tournament ends, I will be at a loss for words at their behaviour...

Are you getting the HBO Defined/Hitz, Star Premiere channels as well?
Nope. None of them have been enabled.
