Guys, I am looking for the Megha movie songs CD that was released a couple of weeks back. I couldn't locate the CD in a couple of shops in my locality at Bangalore. Even flipkart and ebay sites do not have the CD. I found this website ilayathalam.com where we can place online order, but when I called them over phone, I was told that it would take 10 days for the dispatch.
Any other place/shops in Bangalore where I can purchase it ... When NEPV CD was released, I got it from flipkart, but I am struggling to get Megha CD in bangalore.
Hi,
I pre-ordered the Megha Audio CD from Ilaiyathalam.com and got a CD Autographed by IR. :yahoo:

Dear IR fans,
Yesterday, I went through all the posts of this thread and the objective was to get very good/high quality sound tracks. After seeing all those posts, I am very much eager and restless to source such good recorded materials of IR music. I currently own mp3 files and I want to switch over to CDs or any lossless formats (FLAC/WAV). Few posts have pointed to AGI music in getting good CDs and I am confused if they are really good to hear or if they can provide audiophile quality. Vinyl records are ruled out for me as I don't have a TT and I also heard about the availability of those records.
I am also open for getting loseless formats. Are there any shops or any other place from where I can get them ?. I am even ready to visit Chennai if they are any shops which can record and give me those high quality formats. If it is not possible to get those lossless formats, please help me in listing the best sounding CDs from AGI music.
Thanks

Hi Shanmune,
I was also on a similar quest a couple of years back. It is really very hard to get the audio CDs for Raja. Not just Raja for that matter even Rahman also is difficult. Thanks to Piracy and MP3. I did buy a few random CDs but if you look at the quality of them they sounded very similar to 320 Kbps MP3s or even worse. The CDs I bought in 90s sounded very different & superior to the ones out there on the market. Not sure whether the audio companies are converting MP3 back to Audio CDs(just captilazing on music lovers) or was the recording quality very mediocre at that time.
Same thing happened to Moser Baer Videos, they launched the DVDs for Tamil films, a few were converted from VHS tape! I can see the scrolling tape damage in those videos.
After that I lost the interest to procure pure music. Most of the forum members are listening in Vinyl, which is nearly impossible to for me to own/maintain.
Thanks !!!
I am just a fan, but I believe there are few who are not only his fans, but they are also emotionally dependent on his music. I know a guy who lost his mother when he was a school kid and he became emotionally dependent on IR's music. Whenever he feels that he is missing his mother, he turns towards IR music. When some one says that IR music is the substitute for his/her lost dear ones, what else one can say about IR's music ??? Nothing .... No amount of praises can do justice ... Just enjoy the absolute bliss and nothing more than that ... Salute to the great composer !!!

I will echo your thoughts, it sounds great. I would love if Raja himself redoes his hit songs and release.the song goes beyond that and feels so fresh. Thanks to Raja's brilliant orchestra
Where can I get vinyl's in chennai?
Thx
