Hi Everyone .... Has anyone used Silent Cinema in YHT-299? .... Does it require a 6.5mm headphone?

Most of the headphone outs are 6.5mm.
You can buy a 6.5mm to 3.5 mm headphone jack and connect any normal headphone.

Any suggestions on wireless headphone to connect with YHT 299?

I think it would require some Bluetooth transmitter and Bluetooth headphone. Any other options or suggestions?

Negotiate hard with them. I had bought it for 34,000 some 3 months back + upto 3 yrs replacement warranty for approx 1800 (negotiated on this as well)in bangalore reliance they shall easily give for less than 35k for sure.

Got my Yht 299 for 35K INR from local distributor. Got it set-up from the Yamaha guy. I was shocked as he used YPAO to set up the system. My room is empty with almost nothing apart from tv and HT. With the helo of google baba I reconfigured the HT to my liking. I have a few questions though :

1) What does the different Audio modes do when we press Movies button?
2) What should be the level of surround speakers?

I bought Yamaha yht 299 yesterday from reliance digital, axis mall. It costs 36250(with Philips bd player) + 3909(2 years resq extended warranty). Waiting for the delivery and installation.

Actually, the serial no. on the box is for entire package which includes AVR and Speakers (including Subwoofer). This is because every item has its own serial no., that's why they have produced an unique serial no. which will be valid for all included items for warranty purposes. I hope this info will help.

Friends.. bought yht-299 few days back..! no problem with quality.
i bought from reliance Panchvati Store - Ahmedabad. simply cheated. as they have given philips bdp with bundle offer, the player they hv given is not coverd with warranty. low quality bdp. if any one buying from relaince make sure that you dont buy phililips bdp
so friends i request you to dont buy from relaince but if you buy anything from relaince be 110% sure.
