If your room size is something like 12 ft by 15 ft, then stock cable is good enough.. btw congrats for your purchase. You got a good deal particularly with the extended warranty. [emoji3]

Asking for cable as the setting up task is cumbersome and with upgrade planned in next year or so (for fronts) dont want to keep in mind bugging the cable thing for quality !

Please let us know regarding the plastic quality of the wall mount once you setup. Also let us know how flexible it is after putting on wall (not ceiling).

As i am new here.i am going to buy a new htib and after reading threads i got confused basically my choice is between yamaha yht 299 and sony ht-m5. particularly i am going to use for music so i need a good sound and i am pretty much bass head too.

How to get clear reception in FM radio ?

I did use YPAO to set the up my system (As of now only 3.1 config since I am yet to mount rears). Somehow the sound coming from the center and fronts is hollow. I feel like the sound is coming from a great distance even when standing next to them.

The levels for fronts are: +3db, for center its +2db while woofer is set at -8db. The distance set by YPAO is: fronts at 12ft and center and woofer at 10.

My viewing/listening distance is 14 ft from the speakers. Also the woofer sounds a bit boomy. The woofer effect sounds echo and not tight. How should I go about setting it up?

Hi Neonwheels,

Try to take a note of the settings in a piece of paper, Try to change the settings manually as per your taste and enjoy.

If you feel confused after changing the settings and if you feel the old settings are fine, you can always change the settings as per the YPAO calibration.

After using for a year, i was curious to change the settings as per YPAO, i do see some difference (not in the good side though). So i made few changes manually as per my taste.
