Marantz warranty

is the international Marantz warranty of 3 years ever respected in india? cinebells/decibells gives one year, inspite of charging a huge premium on these products. is this fair? can anything be done?

firstly, are you THE amit heri?

and secondly....this seems to be a problem with a number of international brands in India. Others have discussed it, but at the end of the day I imagine Marantz is giving its Indian distributors the freedom to reduce the warranty period. I don' imagine the distributors are going against Marantz's diktats, but this is just conjecture.
