Re: Robbery

The day i was returning to Mumbai after meeting the 4 forum members, robbery struck.

I was robbed of following items in Rajdhani train.

Robbery in Rajdhani!

How did they get in? What about other passengers in the train esp women, they would've lost their jewelry too!

Thats sad. Have you lodged complaint with the Ralway police? Also inform the bank about the lost debit card. There is a chance to catch the culprit if he tries to use the card. I hope you haven't written the PIN on the ATM card. Many including educated people have done this folly. I used to wonder how one can't remember a 4 digit number.

Next time look for a clean shaven guy in a nice trouser using IE on a netbook, listening to music in his ipod.

Complain

Santhosh,

My bag got stolen when i placed in compartment and there was not much time to lodge a complain as train was to leave in next 30 minutes.

However even if there was a opportunity i would have not lodged complain because near about there is not going to be any recovery.

All i need to do is to exercise more precautions like using a steel wire and the numbered lock of which Samsonite and others make + take more care.

Thanks.

V.

I was in Calcutta last weekend. Met up with a few of the members there:

1. Ex member Cranky (Sangram)
2. Pratim
3. Myraid
4. Asit

On Day 1, auditioned the Ayon Integrated driving Usher Mini Dancers source being VPI which was the star of the show.

Next day, I auditioned Asit(da)'s setup comprising Line Magnetic CDP, Leben Tube Integrated and Canton 3-way speakers. It would've taken a lot of pain and effort to put together the lovely set up which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Just returned; with lots of memories, a hidden treasure and a badly twisted/ sprained ankle.

I have met up with the last two, excellent hosts and very nice guys. Both have been invited to Bangalore for reciprocal hospitality but looks like its not going to happen soon..

Had the pleasure of meeting the very humble and kind Viren Bakshi and many thanks to him for the uplifting experience listening to his new "Horns" powered with a GM70 amp.
