Thank you prosenjit,
Here are the next set of my HT photos.
Since my HT is in the first floor and having metal sheet roofing i have to put heavy insulation with thermocol and glass wool as first ceiling and POP as second.
My room size after all side wall acoustic insulation is 15.25 x 24 x 8.25.
And screen wall build is 15" curved in the center. Projection screen size 13' x 6.75' for 16:9.

I have done all the research work for acoustic and insulation thro internet and finally done all the work on my own idea with the help of the workers and finished my DIY dedicated HT setup.

Thank You for looking into my pictures.
With regards,
Murali Dharan, Erode, Tamil Nadu.

It is a good dedicated movie room with wonderful recliners. The curved ceiling also is very good.

A great inspiration to others.

Are you using lights with dimmer option?

Many congratulations.

Muralidharan, great setup... or should I say awesome setup :clapping:... such spacious and luxurious home theatre setup in the heart of Tamil Nadu... great to know..... Keep it up. I will PM you for some details that might help me..:ohyeah::ohyeah:

Congratulations !! Amazing setup and thats a massive dedicated room you have there. Its really an inspiration for all and hats off to you to pull something off like this on your own research and design.

Very well done Murali. The satisfaction that one gets from doing such a project is, to put it mildly, immense.

I've also done an HT room last year with some nice components and am really enjoying it.

Cheers

Wow...mind blowing setup mate.
I assume this was a terrace of your house and you converted that into this awesome Home theatre setup. :clapping:
This is seriously huge one. :D
And many congrats to you for building this and that too DIY.;)

Congrats on the great set up. With every new home theatre i see, my urge and passion towards building my own keeps growing. Thank you.

Looking at the size of that, you can have special screenings for your local community. :D

Great setup!!

your thread will inspire more people to go for dedicated HT room!!

P.S - I've pinged you to know your exact location details, as I come to Erode once in a while :)

Hi

Mdharan dont call it a "HomeTheater" call it as "Theater". Very neatly done and i think you can give a little bit of slope for the seating to look more authentic.

Hello Sub,
Thank you for your compliments, I have given 6" height seating for the recliners, Since i have two entrances in the seating area i can't give more then that. My projection size is 13' x 6.75' which is big to add a second row of seating, so i lifted the seating area by 6" only.

Murali.
