Need advice!!! Sony W850a or LG LA6910?

Thanks, Can you guide me what all needs to check to make sure that my TV is not faulty.

How to check the usage for LA6910? How to check the bleeding of screen & all?
Is the usage should be "0" or min some hrs?

I am still confused with 6910 and w850 (and to add to the confusion, F5500).

If one was 15k+ cheaper, I would have bought that, but both costs almost the same.

Probably are quite similar . Sony has slightly better PQ (especially with the trilumious models) , LG has more features . My LG has minor bleeding issues but that doesn't mean SOny is perfect .
One area where Sony is distinctively better is the extended warranty .I mean its cheaper and longer (1+2 ) . There is no proper information on LG's web site extended warranty policy .The information provided by the service agent was very vague . And from what I heard its costlier .

Thanks alot.. got my lg 6910 42'' ordered it yesterday and delivery by tomorrow.

For Chennai people.. venus electronics gives an amazing price of 75000 lower than any other shop that i have enquired so far.... :yahoo:

Will post reviews once i start using it... and people who are using it already pls give your views on time machine 2 .. hows it doing ??? hyeah:

Sony w950 is now available at approx +10k more than 6910 for 46 ' model . consider that before finalizing .Pq is better on Sony. but lg has more features. Blacks are deeper on Sony and there is much lesser bleeding .
One thing I find bad in lg is exhorbitant extended warranty , compared with Sony.

Hi windy rider.. i checked up the price... 42'' of sony is 75k and 46'' is 92k.. that was the least i could get.... and moreover i dont want to get such a big tv like 46'' so i sticked with lg 42

what is the cost for extended warranty in lg ? any clue ??

I've 42" LG 6910.extended warranty quoted for 3 year ,if taken with in one month of purchase is Rs 5600/+ taxes,nearly Rs 6000/- for three years,if taken after one month of purchase,cost is Rs 5000 + taxes for one year.

Sony extended warranty is approx 7500 for extra 2 years warranty . where as warranty for lg is about same for extra 1 year warranty ..Rip off . They offered some 10% discount immediately after buying but still turns out to be expensive ..
