Hehe, OK. That means 175GB is the max that a mango man can get from Airtel. Will have to try it out, am really enjoying the Netflix connection over my Tata Sky HD+, so really need to solve the resolution issue

All I have to say about netflix is, WOW! I can totally do without a cable connection now. Though that decision isn't entirely mine. Family still wants their saas abhi dramas and I don't really want to share my bandwidth with them anyways

Currently watching the final season of breaking bad on Netflix!

Yes Netflix with XBMC will be something .... but with me the inbuilt app on WD TV Live really really works great. .....

Does WD Live stream directly or you have to use VPN etc

also, has anyone manage to get superhd? I'm stuck with Android stick which only does 480p :indifferent14: does apple tv sold in India lets you to install netflix app?? any other alternatives? Roku doesn't work for Sweden which is The region for movies.

Super HD is 1080p and yes I watched prison break season 2-4 super hd on Netflix running on WDTV live.

Pretty much everything I tried on the ps3 streamed in 1080p (Super HD). iPad version of netflix just got updated and that's getting HD too now. Though not really sure if its 1080 or 720p. Looks more like its 720p to me but could be wrong. Whatever it is, it's certainly a higher resolution than what it was couple of days ago.

As far as Apple TV is concerned, I don't have one (yet) so can't confirm for sure. But as far as I understand, the most you'll need to do (in addition to us/uk DNS server) is create a free US iTunes account. That should enable netflix if it isn't already. I am 99.9% sure that buying the box in India won't make any difference. Because that'd be a very un-apple like thing to do. Unless it's absolutely necessary, they avoid different SKUs of the same product. Simple business sense. The lower the number of products on your catalog, the easier it is to build and distribute them.

Any idea if there is any such provider for soccer/EPL? then it would really make sense for me, as my that is my primary use, and then movies/serials... then I could give up my shitty Hathway non-HD provider, and stop my search for HD-DVRs in India.. hyeah:

As of now, when Hathway has it's periodic hiccups, I have to resort to some blurry free online streams..

I have XT pro and an HTPC/XBMC. None of these have native support for netflix. Using browser , I don't get surround sound. I have ordered Chromecast , a good and v affordable option for netflix . It sells for mere 35$. Initially they also had 3 months free Netflix but that offer has ended. never the less, it seems like a good buy. I have already ordered it and friend of mine is bringing it over.

I've been using Roku for the last few years (although I am in the US), and I can tell you that it is hands down the best streaming video player I have encountered. Tiny box, full HD, stable, very reasonably priced, one of the best user interfaces I have seen in a device, just *works* out of the box, lots of apps.

It is the benchmark device as far as I am concerned.

I've only used it for internet streaming though, and not local streaming although it does have a USB port and supports h.264 from what I understand.

Which WD TV you bought, the Live one. I have WD TV Live, and its performing wonderfully, specially Netflix, which was my prime reason to purchase the product. Lag on online services might be coz of bandwidth, mine is 8mbps connection and I dont see any lag while using any online service.
