No I don't have any of these.
These are all very good points especially for Indian consumers . :lol:

- what the neighbour purchased > Need to buy better than them. (step 1)
- what the salesman told them to buy > Ask salesman what is better than neighbors TV. (step 2)
- what they see in advertisements (plasma TV is hardly advertised) ( Advt means also that my model /company is more popular than others.)
- hearsay reports - plasma is old tech, etc. (mostly word of mouth from ignorant sales man or friends. :indifferent14

Ohh come on my friend, are these the only reasons why the leds are baught by majority, that too by shelling out more money... Ha ha ha . Who in world wud not buy more for less, still plasma are slowly pushed out of market, Lets face it ... leds are good on their own terms than plasma ... Of course, these are not the only reasons people buy LED or any particular product. A sentiment analyser software can come up with many reasons. But that is not the point you raised. Your original point was the disproportionate plasma bias in the forum members here. All I am saying is that the ratio of number of LED lovers to plasma lovers is 100:1 - possibly much more; but these people are not forum members anywhere.

Are they not recommending sammy and phillips leds?
Dont you think the members here appreciate quality Picture whether it is plasma or led?
One should have the honesty to appreciate whatever is good. If the observations made by the members here are wrong then prove it with your own analysis.
Make a point and defend it the right way.
Comments like "this is 2013 man, dont waste your money" will not help anybody in anyway dude.
