Guys, got the yh2s yday night when I got back home. Brendon, gurubhai thank you for bearing the delay. I am just recovering from a fever.
Playing it alternatively off the hp out of my cdp and stereo amp. Cdp is cleaner but power is barely adequate . Stereo amp hp out has ample power but not as clean as cdp.
But I am definitely enjoying the sound of the yh2.

^^ should be doable..also guys am still working on the TPs, but i do believe I might have found a scheme that I really like. Having the LCD-2 as reference surely does help.

@Sachi : saw your scheme over at HF. BTW, do you keep the original damping paper/tape intact or is that removed too ?

I try to keep it intact..but that only can take as many iterations..its not perfect but nearly all of it is still there on the back of the driver.
Mostly been working on the lower end freq response and killing those peaks in the mids..i think i succeeded in both
could use a bit more push in the bottom end but this is significatnly improved over the previous scheme here.

Okay..I think I am ready to send the TPs out. I hate to ask you guys this..but I am on a financial strain right now, fresh out of school and jobless at the moment. I was wondering if the participants in the loaner program would like to pick up the tab for me shipping the headphones out to you guys. Priority mail would come out to 35$. Let me know guys...

lol..you guys are way too awesome for words...the TPs leave to Ravi's place come monday or tuesday at the latest. Am very happy with the current damping scheme, could use a little more push in the low freqs but am not going to mess with it at this point.
As for possibilities of buying it off of me...well I really don't know about that..i'll put that down as a maybe for now.

Obviosuly you have probably thought about this, but make sure the travel time is shortest between each of the participants. So if supposing iaudio is in chennai, rallynut is in Bangalore and the TPs were leaving Brendon's place and supposing he is in Mumbai, the TPs would to go Rallynut first and then to Iaudio...hope that makes sense.
