@all,yes,i finally have my hands on them

,..the YH2's i mean :indifferent14:.
@gurubhai,very generous of u to be letting us sample isodynamic tech.beautiful, circa 1978??.man,..was like five yrs young when these babies hit the streets :clapping:!!lol.also agree 100% that listening to diana krall on these is special indeed.very nice
@sachi,of course we'll pick up the shipping charges

!!!
regarding them YH2s,..balanced,beautifully so.a very laid back kinda, smooth creamy sound.of course criticising fit/finish on something thats almost as old as me,a little defeatist,no?this only because they sound so much more focused with some pressure on the headband near the temple region, very organic and lush, their delivery.just imagining a listen to them new is something!!!
very needy of amplification.i found myself havin to crank up my CA640A V2 vol close to 1'o'clock just to get it to start singing.for a reference i listen to my M50's at approx 9'o'clock and beyond,if that!!a good amp must certainly make this blind listeners with their brilliance

!!the bass is very accurate, mids lush, highs non edgy.very good sense of space.only way to describe them in my subjective way would be as,...balanced.hell,i even played some hardcore psy trance thru them and it does such a great job rendering that

!!!
will ship it along after another day's listen.very good stuff this, the era,the application of this technology, the bellini design, and the delivered sound.truly smooth.audio in them times had a soul to it all
