yes I hope the person who is holding the hostage reads this.
I have no issues if the TPs give their grandpa a thrashing.
That would just motivate me to build my own TPs or may be a new housing for the NADs.
That just reminds me that my Fostex T50RP are being held hostage by someone, hopefully he would be reading this.
@Brendon : Does the preamp help with bass levels of HP-2 ?
May be some opamp rolling will help.

well just picked up a wharfedale ID2 today real cheap..should come out to just about 45$ shipped.

OKay chaps..the TPs are finally ready. There are still some peaks in the upper midrange but won't bother with it now. It still sounds pretty darn good. So good in fact that I haven't touched my wharfies in a week.
I posted the final damping scheme on the ortho and the TP threads over at HF.

Who said it would be less powerful?
You will still be able to bias it quite high. At very least 3 watts into 50 ohms. PLenty if you ask me..i usually biased mine at about 5 watts into 50 ohms
Its faster than the EHHA-1. The external S22 supply would be useful however unnecessary if you ask me.
