at long last, i do believe the tps will be in India tomorrow or the day after. My cousin is visiting home and is brinigng it over with him after my friend forgot them at his cousin's place a month and half ago...

Will update you all when he has reached Bangalore and one of you can arrange to have it picked up from my place or I can arrnage to have my dad ship it to one of you.

unfortunately, I realized that my speakers are making strange sound. Sound like a constant intermittent (oxymoron, but that is sadly true) noise. Something like noisy volume pot, something like the noise of breeze when blowing directly in your ears. After spending a couple of nights to figure out what is wrong, it seems the DAC is faulty. They are absolutely silent when analog out of my CDP goes into lyrita. I initially thought it was lyrita pre that was the problem, but digging deeper I figured out that it is a problem with dac, and both coaxial and optical.

Oh my god, that just reminded me of something! Do the Thunderpants have 3.5mm or 6.3mm jack? If the latter, i have to get an adapter pronto!

IT is wired for a 3.5mm jack but i do believe i sent it with a 3.5 to 6.25mm adapter as well..

Rules from Sachi's US loaner program. I think we should stick with them.

1>I will ship the headphones out via priority insured mail to the first participant.

2>From there on each participant gets to have the headphones for a week after which he/she will ship it on to the following participant using some form of insured mail which is track-able.

3>I reserve the right to decide who gets to be on the loaner program for obvious reasons.

4>After each participant has had it for a week I would want them to post a brief review of the headphones truthfully.

5> the final participant will ship the headphones back to me naturally.

The DAC plans have to wait a bit. I had been busy with EHHA rev. A builds, got one of them finished couple of days ago.The initial impressions are quite positive even as the sound continues to change.I think this would mean that I would soon have one EHHA extra, let me know if any of you is interested.
