Guru, please co ordinate with the participants..prefer to keep it to a week for each of the participants..as for shipping and insurance..if fedex or UPS profvide service within India..go that route please.

I don't think we have UPS here & fedex doesn't provide local services in India.

So, its either the Bluedart or the DTDC plus that we can go with.

I am unfamiliar with Indian courier services..please take whichever route you are most comfortable with. Treat the TPs as your own and pick accordingly what sort of shipping method you want to go with.

@Sachi - Sorry to hear about your grandmom. Please accept my condolences. However it is nice that she passed away when surrounded by family.

Fedex and UPS does not have service within India, and Pafex (supposed Indian arm of Fedex is pretty much a rubbish courier). I would stick with Bluedart (Indian arm of DHL) or DTDC Blue at worst if it were my headphones.

Brendon, Its only day before and yday that I actually got to listen to the TPs. I was away at my native place for Xmas till then.
Impressions are long winded, I cant help it! So should I post it here or on separate thread?
I will be out of station today. Hope to send the cans to esanthosh when I am back tomorrow morning, I have both DTDC as well as Bludart option. Lets see who promises faster delivery to esanthoshs address.

Probably write a summary here and give a link to the full review.

On sending to Brendon, I'd be using DTDC Blue or Plus. Blue Dart office is far off, but they do deliver me the packages regularly. I'll ask them about picking up, costs etc., But DTDC is much easier since they've a local office that works till night.

On insuring, any ideas?

I thought we were marking it as used headphones, uninsured. DTDC here will probably reject, if so Bludart will be my only option to send.

Gurubhai, I have the package ready to be sent, dont worry, I kept it for a week. Sticking to the schedule.

Also esanthosh has opted out of the loaner. So I guess I am to send it to Brendon? I need his address.
The couriers guys here are still making a fuss that they wont send electronic items like headphones, trying to coax them.

Folks, I had a chat with esanthosh & he isn't opting out of loaner. He just has some business to take care of this week. He has been looking forward for the TPs & would be free after a couple of weeks.
I think we can accommodate him to the bottom of list.
anm can ship it to him instead of sachi's place.

Cool, I was looking forward to reading Santhosh's take on the TPs, more so because I am familiar with his preferences and stuff.

Anyway, I have shipped the cans to Brendon via DTDC Plus and sent him the tracking no. He should have it on Monday it seems.

Great looking forward to my New Years 'gift' !

Just wish it had come a bit earlier since there was a head-fi meet at my home scheduled for this Sunday but on the bright side I wont have to worry about anyone damaging the TPs.

Plus my YH-100s would have probably gotten jealous on seeing all the attention the TPs would have got for the meet.
