Another news - the noise problem I mentioned in various threads.

The bad news is that the problem is [seems to me] in the HK amp.
The good news, is that the problem is in the HK amp, which means my apple tv as transport, and lampucera dac+lyrita pre SHOULD be working fine. I will spend some more time today to check this out as DAC with the ehha [assuming it is still working], as well as compare its headphone out with EHHA.

ok - reached home, connected everything. Fired up itunes and expected the sound to flow. To my disappointment, nothing came out Again, heart beat dropped, finally reality sinking in that it is indeed screwed.
So I pressed the power plug on the amp side. Heard some noise. So I pulled it out and pushed it back in the socket. Sound came out of headphones.
Yes, it is back up making music. I think the music is not as magical as it was (but there 90%). I think it needs some times to warm up.
While writing this, I keep touching back my wooden av rack. Touch wood!

I don't think I shall be building anything for a while now.While I enjoyed building each one of my amps, the process is just too time consuming.
May be some time later, when I have some spare time.

how about dacs? As per my other thread on office dac/ amp - I am interested in a dac+amp. Your sale is quite well timed to confuse me further. I would love to have ehha on my desk I am trying to convince myself against all other constraints of size, possible tampering and theft.

Phew ! I was getting more nervous by the day that the courier guy had lost the TPs.

Seriously taking 5 days to ship an item between two Metros is ridiculous in this day and age when so many courier companies take just 24 hours and charge the same. :annoyed:

Excellent..two more weeks and i will get my TPs back. Unless one of you wants to buy it for 600, it is getting sold here in the US for a little bit more. AM hoping it will make it back to me by March 1st.
