Calibration means professional calibration. Simply copying online setting will arbitrarily set up your display however they may make it worse too. The gt50 s THX settings are the best best for those people who don't have the hardware or facility to calibrate.
 
Off topic but related to GT50D.

Which Keyboard is supported for GT50D, Bluetooth or Wireless (using USB)?

Good to know you realize the importance of calibration. EVERY tv needs to be calibrated once you bring it home be it LED,LCD, Plasma or Projector. The THX preset or any other preset will only do so much but to get the optimum picture for your specific room, you MUST calibrate.

There are 2 ways to do this..........Prof Hardware Calibration and Disc Level Calibration. If you have the budget and want the BEST for your tv, there is nothing better than getting a specialist to do it. THX and ISF are the 2 main globally recognized Video Calibration Certifications. You can try to inquire with some hi end hifi/HT stores and check if they offer calibration services.

Alternatilvey and also the cheaper way would be to get yourself any calibration disc..........VIdeo Essentials, Avia, etc........have a look:

Every THX movie also has a built in calibration in every DVD/Bluray.

Yes it indeed is Bluetooth. You can buy a Bluetooth keyboard online. All my key boards are wireless however none is Bluetooth. I have a Bluetooth mouse, don't know if there is any chance of connecting the same.

Do you mean you are using wireless (non-Bluetooth) keyboard with GT50D?

What happened with your deal? Did you get your tv?
 
No I meant wifi enabled keyboards don't work any only Bluetooth enabled ones work. I don't have a Bluetooth enabled one as they are rare. The only Bluetooth enabled input device I have is a Logitech Bluetooth laser mouse.

If one has a iPad or android pad one can use its keyboard to enter data using the viera application.

Indiaplaza is giving the cheapest price for a Panasonic 50 gt 50 around 104000 however has only a 1 year warranty which is certainly a deal breaker.

Panasonic showroom go down to 110000.
 
at 1.04 l....It is even much better deal than mine apart from 1 year warranty

The two years of extended warranty on the panel is definitely worth 6000 for a > 1 lac product.

So 110000 is a fair price with the freebies. The panasonic MFD is a good freebie however the bollywood hungama voucher is more of a gimmick in a world of torrents.
 
Looks like a great offer even if it has a single year warranty. One may pay for third party insurance for around 8000 bucks for the subsequent years.
 
Is it safe to buy from infibeam?
Regarding warranty, they have written 1 yr manufacturer warranty.. So it must be like regular Panasonic plasma tv where 1 yr full warranty and 2 yrs warranty on panel..isn't it?
 
Buying & transporting plasmas is a tough task. However they claim of replacing within 48 hours in case of damage during transportation. You should make a call before diving into the offer and check if the piece is a new, sealed, one and it has the 3 years warranty.

I have purchased the same at the current market price of 112000 and the same is available from multibrand stores for 110000. The price of 96K seems great if there is the actual 3 yeal warranty.
 
that 96k deal is clearly written in website... for 1 year warranty from manufacturer side...and about trasnportation ,it is even done by company to distribute the product to other countries...so all it maters is...how carefully it is done...i have just booked one...and asked for the availaibility of piece...he said it will come from delhi to here...but they are waiting to conform the availability till 1pm..
