Called infibeam again...product is confirmed to exist...i have one query...if i find it demo piece...i may land into problems...so what can be done....i cannot go delhi & check its usage hours...ofcourse i can show it to the engineer when he come & install...is there anyother way get a tension free deal

There is no way it can be made tension free.. It is for few bucks (20k) that we are taking risk..
I asked them and they said they have procured from Panasonic company itself and there are no chances of getting demo piece (infibeam itself is a seller in this case)..They will ship in wooden enclosure to prevent damage..
There is one seller who is selling for even less on infibeam without printer but without any contact info we can't rely on him..
What else can you make sure? All we need is a bit of luck in this cases..

I already advised you long ago. If you are getting 50GT50 for 1L, forget infibeam and other offers. Do not be penny wise and pound foolish so to speak.

And that is what I am saying ... do not try to save some 2000 bucks and be in a dilemma about delivery, shipping insurance, possible damages during delivery, post sales support, etc. Apply some price to peace of mind too.

I check with a few dealers in Gurgaon for the GT50. They are all saying it is out of stock and fresh stock will only come in after Diwali. I was like :O

Even I searched Heaven and earth for a good price, but nowhere in Mumbai did I get below 1,19,000. Couldn't take the risk of buying it from some other city (seems it is sold in Bangalore for 1.02L) and then transporting it. My heart burns for paying 20k extra but can't take a risk. Seems there is no other way around. :sad:

I agree, but isn't it something that has come a long way from 1.38L to 92 K. Unfortunately you wouldn't get to match the same price with local dealers
which is of course the main pulling point for some of us.
Will Panasonic not accept to provide 3 years warranty on products?:sad:

1.38L is MRP and it was always quoted from 1.25 L and has been offered around 1-1.1L now at most places... in case infibeam actually delivers as promised with the right unused set, its a gr8 deal.

Called up Panasonic CC @ 1800 103 1333.
They say that products brought online too carry the same warranty status as well those brought in local Stores.
Gotta fill up a card thats inside the cartel and mail to the address mentioned, voila! Your warranty is in place.

Well, before placing order I asked infibeam people and they said your invoice will come from infibeam itself and it will have all features offered by Panasonic India.. Regarding 3 year warranty they were not aware but said if company is giving it, you are entitled for it.. Even after receipt of the tv, they said to inform infibeam and they by themselves contact co. and arrange for installation..
So till now everything seems fine..

Unfortunately in my city there is no one to negotiate..
Croma and vijay sales don't have either Samsung 8000 or Panasonic gt50 or even st50.. If asked they can arrange a set for a great discount of 1.25lacs..!!!
Authorised dealers of Panasonic are even worse and they don't have it since beginning( not went out of stock)
So had to go for the most risky approach of online buying and shipping..
Last year I got 50v20 from kanpur safely and hope everything will be fine this time also..
