@streetlife, if all your attempts with the service centre fails try reaching someone higher up in Panasonic. The service centre kept on delaying fixing my TV within the warranty period citing "unavailability" of parts. Frustrated with the abysmal customer service, I e-mailed Manish Sharma (MD, Panasonic South Asia & India) and got the part flown in to my city and TV fixed within the next 24 hours. Also got a series of apology and follow up calls from 4 Panasonic folks ranging from a Customer Care top level official in their India office, Regional head, State in-charge and so on. As a mark of their apology got an extended warranty on top of the original 3 year warranty
