oh I mean in compensation I would have asked for delivery of 470 or 490 ASAP and since 470 was out of stock and 490 in stock he would have had to deliver 490 (and difference in price is 10/15 K).

Not sure things would have worked in above manner but at least one could try with telephone recordings, booking receipts and all. But I think every company takes side of its dealer only

Bought the tv on July28th and yet to get the HT delivered. Every time I call the dealer ,he says " it should come by this week end sir" Six weekends gone and i am fed up of this answer now.. Called the owner and he said he will call the company and let me know the reason for the delay. BTW TV is working without any issue ...

"Bigger is better" not always true in case of Flat TV panels.

1. XT50 is HD Ready and UT50 is full HD

2. On the other hand you can hardly differentiate between HD Ready and FullHD in 42" and below. So if you really want to go for 50" then go for 50UT50
other wise go for 42XT50.

Both of your option will lead you into catch22 situation.

As mentioned by Krish.. for 50"+ FHD might be more relevant and it will make you ready for all future content as well. See if you can stretch yourself to 50UT50.

Else the difference might not be huge in 42" and 42XT50 should be good.

Unless you see Blu Rays all the time - dont think full HD makes a difference. I have owned both. But if you can afford it go for UT50. Sometimes going for the cheapest option may not be good.

Rationale? Just curious to understand thought behind. I am not saying No to it in fact thinking about it. But that is like bogging down to these people

I feel that your relationship with Panasonic is quite damaged. Because of shortage of units you are not going to get a replacement soon. Dealer may delay the replacement just to spite you. Take a refund and go with Samsung. This is just a thought process. You may be a better judge of the affair.

I booked a Panasonic 42" UT50 But i felt Panasonic XT50 looked more better when compared with Samsung E490.Although there were no UT50 model for display But when compared with XT50 it has major advantage of 1080p. So, I got the conclusion it's UT50 , the winner.

Please consider wait time of 3 weeks for replacement, Plus stupid call with Branch office and now prank calls from panasonic gurgaon office. Suggest me what option should I take:

1. Take a refund - Available

2. Take same TV and keep mum - Available

3. Press for higher model and seek apologies from the official concerned - Not yet discussed

4. File a legal case and press for apologies & compensation

In case you want to consider (3), there is program called PEHEREDAR on CNBC Awaaz. (strictly in case you want to be adventurous since you seem to have some proofs) !

Why blu ray look crap

Hi..my tata sky hd looks better than BD on my XT50....also I cant seem to get full screen mode with PS3.....

Is this due to HD ready thing...

Now see this guys..xt 50 peak brightness is less than st30...review is suggesting it is very dim..while we all found it to be really bright...hmmmm
