These are few things I Got in last month for Diwali shopping
1. Polk FxiA6 (Surrounds) to replace my 5 yr old Wharfdale WH2 Surrounds , chose white color to be least obtrusive to the eyes of my better half.
They are sounding awesome, the Timber matching makes a appreciable difference, for the movies - good surrounds, almost as capable as you front and center speakers is must. The detailed high freq response of Polks combined with my Denon x2200w makes a lot of difference.
2. Benq HT3050 to replace my Benq HT2050 ,
initially decided to change to LG OLED TV costing 2.5L instead of projector , but after a detailed demo and a very small screen compared to Projector screen - just decided against it. 6-7 yrs with projectors now for HT purposes, it is difficult to go back. Might upgrade to a 4K projector later instead.
HT 3050 is awesome, the preset Cinema 709 mode is wonderful, Just Plug and Play No tinkering needed; great DLP projector , which I'd recommend to anyone.
3. after much researching and demoing on Stereo Amps( budget around 30k) ,This 10yr old Onkyo Integra costing nearly half made a Lot of Difference. My Polk RTI A5s just seemed like they came to Life, Everything the Low freq, Vocals , Strings sound much better Now. Looking for good DAC to complement this analog stereo amp now (budget around 30k).
