Post your latest AV purchase(s)......

Recently bought a 8 gb Creative Zen XFi2. Its a touch model with FM and a game pre-loaded. My usage is mostly music and am enjoying every bit of it. Sound quality is exceptional... It has been a long cherished dream to own a good PMP and now it has come true.

Have tried the player with few ear phones I own, Senheisser PMX200, Bose in-ear, Sony EX200 and Creative's ear phones. Each of the ear phones give a distinct sound and when I listen to them, so I really have a choice of ear phone I can use for different kind of music.

Ripped and loaded a DVD movie yesterday to check the video quality, its excellent.

Bought it from UK so it worked out to rs. 6600...

Cheers>>

Looking for a small Night light for laptop.
Can anyone let me know the better brand, cost, availablity in bangalore?
I tried with this cheap-O led usb lamp (got it from SP Road a year back, Rs100) and i was surpised to see that it lit well at initial stages. Then down the line (after 3months or so), the light went dim and i could rarely see the key's. So looking for a small light, either powered or USB.
I was looking for the oldmodel of tablelamps which i could power with 0 (zero) watts bulb, but in vain. Also most of the recent tablelamps comes with led's!! My preference would be normal bulbs (if the tablelamp holder supports it), else if no option, i shall go for led's.

Well I also went for the same cheap o usb led light, however mine is working pretty fine, When I first plugged it in I was like OK with the light intensity, but it was sufficient for night works .... its been a year and its still working perfectly (Lucky me I guess)

wow that's not a bad deal for 20k!
Are you sure it provides enough current and doesn't kill the dynamics of the music?
I wonder how expensive would be a 5kva.

regards

Well not using for Music(Stereo), But for Movies I dont find any difference. And yes it takes the load easily, even at high volumes with heavy bass ...... 2KVA is more than sufficient for this kind of setup. Infact I play games as well on my computer connected and its taking the load easily...... After connecting everything (AVR,LCD,Xbox360,POHD, Tata Sky +, my computer (which itself is heavy with HD5850), Pana Bluray, My router and modem) ...... the load is around 75% so its still under safe limit ...... decent product if you ask me ....
